Karen Martino Joins Safety Team
Please welcome Karen Martino to our Team! She started on March 1, 2023 in the role of Workers Compensation Specialist. Previously Karen was a Workers Compensation Claims adjuster with Travelers Insurance where she managed Florida claims. She served as the primary point of contact for several dedicated accounts, following injured workers through all phases of their treatment until they were released from care. She has extensive knowledge in the areas of accident investigation, litigation and settlement negotiations. We are a grateful beneficiary of her many years of experience in the varied aspects of workers compensation.
Karen is originally from Connecticut and has lived in Florida for over 35 years. She loves the beach, traveling, live music events, festivals and cooking. Her favorite trip so far has been Italy – she would really like to go back. One day, she’d like to go to Greece. Her favorite concert to date has been Jason Aldean. Her favorite meal to cook is ANYTHING Italian; She loves making her own sauce!
When not at work, you will probably find Karen outside walking, at the gym, the beach or enjoying Sunday Funday exploring new restaurants and small towns. She makes it a priority to walk 5 to 7 days per week and enjoys participating in small group strength training classes at her gym. She loves spending time with her family and friends and her boyfriend, Paul. Karen has a 26 year old daughter who lives in Salt Lake City and she’s anxious for her next visit so she can meet her new granddog – a Double Doodle named Teddy.
She looks forward to visiting our Florida sites and to meeting lots of Team Members!
