Craig Beebe – CISA
Last December, Craig Beebe took the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examination, which is the final step in a long process to certification.
After self-studying 8-10 hours a week for several months, he demonstrated his proficiency in “The Process of Auditing Information Systems; Government and Management of IT; Information Systems Acquisition, Development and Implementation; Information Systems Operations, Maintenance and Service Management; and Protection of Information Assets.” (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/certified-information-systems-auditor.asp)
As Internal Audit Manager, it is Craig’s job to identify potential risks for Burris and to encourage that certain controls be implemented to minimize those risks at a level that the company is willing to accept. This CISA examination just confirmed his understanding in Information Systems.
In Craig’s free time, he enjoys shooting sporting clays and fishing. He is always up for a challenge and is great at risk evaluation.
As a man constantly evaluating risks, his saying could not be more fitting: “Structure your life in a way that you can accept very large risks when the opportunity presents itself.”
