Four Hour Exam
This past Friday, Milford’s Jordan Jackson passed his Certified Treasury Professional (or more commonly referred to as CTP) examination!
In preparation for it, he self-taught himself, spending 5 hours a week for several months trekking through a 600 page textbook.
This test, administered by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), takes four hours to complete with 170 finance and treasury related questions to answer.
This certification not only confirmed Jordan’s credibility, but also trained him better in preparing and responding to financial volatility in the market and ensuring the protection of company financial assets from potential risks.
In Jordan’s free time, he enjoys taking his family to the beach, watching sports (especially ice hockey), and playing golf when he can!
When asked what advice he would give to his future self, he said, “Take advantage of all the opportunities.” For this certification, he certainly did!
