One Burris; Stronger Together
Jason Morgan is the Assistant General Manager at our Elkton, MD Warehouse. Jason is also great at communicating and radiating positivity. He shared this story with me early this morning:
“I had a great OneBurris moment happen at our site this morning.
About 6:30am, Elkton Trans department received a called from Honor Foods that the reefer on one of their trailers was failing and they could not get anyone to it in time to save the load. They were very close to the Elkton site and asked if we could assist. Rita Rullo and Andrew Evans coordinated getting the driver to our site and with the help of Francisco Reyes, Manuel Magana, Jon Pelkey and Joey Gindhart, were able to get the trailers swapped into a functioning trailer and the driver back out on the road by 7:55am.
Fantastic work by all to recognize Honor as one of the family and turn them around just like we would one of our own – because they are.”
