Milford’s IT Interns 2019

Burris Logistics offers great learning and growing experiences for young interns. This summer, the Milford IT Team hired on three interns: Jack Hoopman, Morgan Prokosch, and Timothy Venable.

Jack Hoopman was hired on as a Project Management Intern. His focus has resided primarily on Supply Chain Portal (SCP) Projects. He’s sat in on project meetings for dock scheduling and residual inspections, as well as meetings with a few prospective retailers. He’s spent a considerable amount of time with the SCP team organizing and managing project boards and communicating to our internal and external audiences the exciting opportunities and potential of Burris’ Supply Chain Portal.

Jack is currently a Junior at Liberty University, studying Business Administration, Finance, and Project Management. In his free time, he enjoys the great outdoors, whether that is hiking, mountain biking, or playing ultimate frisbee.

Morgan Prokosch was hired on as a Technical Writing Intern. Though she was hired by Milford, she does her job remotely from Minnesota. She has been working on technical diagrams and documentation for our Warehouse Management System (WMS) Software programs and improvements that include mock-ups (drawings of how the screens should look), along with QC testing looking for V4 (WMS) and SCP (Supply Chain Portal).

Morgan is currently a Sophomore at St. Mary’s University with a double major in Public Relations and Journalism, and a minor in Business. In her free time, she enjoys water tubing and kayaking. She has a dog named Toby, her favorite movie is The Rookie, and her favorite dessert is chocolate cake!

Timothy Venable was hired on as an Internal Communications Intern. He’s written articles and posts for One Burris, Burris Avenue, and the Burris Blog, learned to operate WordPress, Confluence, and Canva, conducted Team Member interviews, and boosted One Burris engagement.

Timothy is attending Regent University in the fall as a Freshman, majoring in Business with an emphasis in Marketing and minoring in Government. In his free time, he enjoys walking at the beach with his family and going on adventures with his little brother.

Jack Hoopman, Morgan Prokosch, and Timothy Venable have all learned a lot this summer and gained more experience in their particular fields of interest. Thank you all for your service to Burris Logistics!
