Welcome Back, Timothy Venable!
In February of last year, Timothy Venable started work with Burris as an HR intern to later transfer to IT near the beginning of summer.
He had recently graduated high school, when he became an Internal Communications Intern. Under Trish Metts, he visited multiple Burris locations, wrote articles for ONEBURRIS.com, Burris Avenue, and the Burris blog, learned to operate WordPress, Confluence, and Canva, conducted team member interviews, and boosted OneBurris.com engagement.
At the end of the summer, however, he had to leave for college at Regent University to attain his major in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. These past two semesters he completed general educational requirements, in addition to Intro to Business, Business Communication, and Marketing courses.
He enjoyed his time at Burris so much, that he returned during his winter break to continue on with what he did during the summer; this time, it included setting up decorations for the Milford Christmas party and covering the events that happened at Burris University.
Starting today, he has now returned back to Burris once again as an Internal Communications Intern! He is looking forward to working with Trish to help relay the great stories about our AMAZING Team Members!
One of the things that makes Burris so great is the people that work here, and it is an honor for Timothy to get to cover their stories!
