Food Safety Focus | Hazard Analysis

Hello All Team Members!

I hope this message finds all of you and your families safe and well,

This week our safety topic is on Hazard Analysis. What is a hazard analysis? I’m glad you asked!

As the name implies, hazard analysis is used to find all the hazards that could be associated with whatever it is we want to look at, whether in food handling or any job we do.

It’s very important to make sure we are taking a good look at our processes and procedures so we can make sure we are handling things the right way.

Hazards in food products can include foreign material, temperature abuse, storing products above or below each other incorrectly and many other factors. Hazard analysis allows us to see the best way to handle a product and keep it as safe as possible for the enjoyment of our families.

Thanks again team for all of you do to provide safe and hazard free food for our families, each and every Day!
